Guest guest
Namaste Bhakta Stephen, Ultimate destiny is attaining Enlightenment, God Realization, Realizing Self as God, or Merging with God. This destiny can be achived by searching inside us by living life truthfully and in compassion, there are various techniques that will help guide us and accelearate our spiritual quest by increasing our lifeforce or prana. Mantra chanting, Meditation, Pranayama, Kundalini yoga, Kriya Yoga etc are techniques or tools that will enhance our quest for spirituality as they focus our mind to a single point and clear our mind of turbulance so that the mind can see the divine and become divine. During this process the life force or kundalini shakti will raise from the Mooladhara chakra and move up to the crown or sahasrara chakra or merge with God, that is the state of enlightenment, when a person or a soul reaches that stage he is merged with god or he is in heaven, he is called Jeevan Muktha ( devoid of all karma or immune from Karma), he will live his remaining life teaching and helping other souls and when he decides to leave his body he can merge with god or go to another loka or he can choose to take birth again on this earth to help the fellow beings. his soul merges with god and works on much higher things. Jesus Christ also preached the same thing, I am not sure if he mentioned a paradise of gold etc, He mentioned a paradise of love and compassion, no treasure on this universe is greater that compassion. Religions created the concept of heavens with gold and beautiful women etc, and hell with fire and beasts. In reality heaven and hell are in our mind, when we increase our lifeforce by doing good and practicing the divine techniques mentioned above we move towards God which is heaven, when we do bad things and follow bad desires we move away from God which is hell.
