Spadigam

I bought a mala of spadigam during my visit to Nepal. The

spadigams are of big size. Every time I make the mala with

multiple of silk thread etc. But they are unable to bear the weight

of the spadigam as they are of big size.

I dont want to make the mala with any metal. I have seen many

Siva Adiargal wearing bigger spadiga mala.

Could any one give some information of the thread or any thing

used for such mala.
