Guest guest
Dear friends and devotees, Bhakti is eternal. There is a lot of correspondence going on with differential views in between each about the topic Why Vaishnavites insult Shaivtes. It reminds “Much about nothing” of the great writer William Shakespeare. We are all Hindus intend to follow Sanatana Dharma and therefore joined in the Bhakti Pages to have Sat-sang on one platform indirectly through Web. I hope all will agree that our motto is to cultivate Bhakti and devotion to the almighty and to walk on the spiritual path which paved by our ancient Rishis. All of you are well aware but I am reproducing the one what is stated in our Veda. Sivaaya vishNuruupaaya Sivaruupaaya vishnavE, Sivasya hrudayam vishNu rvishNOSca hrudayagm Sivaha, Yathaa SivamayOvishNu ryEvamvishNu mayaSSivaha, Yathaantaram napasyaami tadhaamEsvastiraayushi, namO brahmaNyadEvaaya gObraahmaNahitaayaca, jagaddhitaaya krushNaaya gOvindaayanamOnamaha. Meaning: The beaut of Vishnu is Siva and the beaut of Siva is Vishnu. Siva’s heart is Vishnu’s heart and Vishnu’s heart is of Siva. One who knows that there is no difference in between Siva and Kesava, he/she will get long life. I bow my head to the creator, protector and savior of this universe who is Parabrhma (Omnipotent) for the sake of cows and Brahmans, which means for the sake of all the living creatures of the universe. Rig Veda says: “He is substance of every great eternal law and He can be perceived in the universal forces of life. His presence is there in the vast seas, across the teeming earth and in the soaring mountain peaks” Yajur Veda says: He is the never-created creator of all: He knows all. He is pure consciousness, the creator of time, all-powerful, all knowing. He is the Lord of the soul and of nature and of the three conditions of nature. From Him comes the transmigration of life and liberation, bondage in time and freedom in eternity. God is, in truth, the whole universe: what was, what is and what beyond shall ever be. He is the God of life immortal and of all life that lives by food. His hands and feet are everywhere. He has heads and mouths everywhere. He sees all, He hears all. He is in all, and He is. Swami Sivananda states: "Shiva and Vishnu are one and the same entity. They are essentially one and the same. They are the names given to the different aspects of the all-pervading Supreme Soul or the Absolute. ‘Sivasya hridayam vishnur-vishnoscha hridayam sivah—Vishnu is the heart of Siva and likewise Siva is the heart of Vishnu’." Hope all of you will realize this and walk together for cultivating Bhakti and attain peace. It is my earnest appeal not to go into deeper of our ancient culture, which is vast and I am afraid that such kind of expressions may ultimately result in leading the younger generation to atheism. Dear brothers and sisters, can’t you observe the water coming from my eyes while writing this? With love and regards, Sastry
