Sanscrit is the deva bhasha for Hindus. All our scriptures are written in Sanscrit only. If we learn Sanscrit, than we can directrly understand many ofour scriptures. There is a web site "Acharya" maintained by IIT-Madras. We have well structured lessons available here to learn Sanscrit free of cost. Here is the web siteaddress:http://acharya.iitm.ac.in/sanskrit/tutor.phpYou can also find very good learning aids here on Bagavad Gita and also Sankara's works. Tamil literature like Tirukkural is also well covered. Please explorethis web site and benefit by it. This site is a gold mine! This is maintained by a dedicated team of workers, led by Prof.R.Kalyanakrishnan, of Computer Science Department in IIT-M. They are also doing great workin serving blind people as they have developed Braille packages to help them.
