Guest guest
Dear Friends, Sometimes the destruction of the body is not automatic. This is brought out in the Kathamrita when people pointed out to Thakur that many sages were killed or had a horrible death despite being realised souls. Sri Ramakrishna replied, " When the purpose of the mould is complete, the creator destroys it to retrieve the prepared contents within. " Regards, Jagannath. Guest guest
Om Namah Sivaya The Vel is the Jnana Sakti of the Lord. Its tip is wide, long and sharp, signifying incisive discrimination and Spiritual Knowledge, which must be broad, deep and penetrating. It destroys ignorance and restores the Jiva to its original abode of pristine glory.Sri Ramakrishna’s saying: “When the nest of a bird is destroyed, it betakes itself to the sky. Similarly, when the consciousness of the body and the outer worldis effected from mind, the Jivatman soars into the sky of the Paramatman and merges itself in Samadhi.â€Tirumantirum (verse 1651): Grace Unites Soul in GodThey mount the Body-ChariotAnd Mind, the Charioteer takes the rein;It is Illusion’s-ChariotThat strange fantasies produces; And they realize it,And mount the Chariot of Love insteadAnd receive Grace of the Pure One,They shall sure be drawnIn the triumphant Chariot of UnityAnd be one in God, obliterating I and He.Tirukural: (357) Having thought profoundly and realized fully that which is, one need never think of being bornagain.
