Dear friends and devotees,

Bhakti is eternal.

SANI BHAGAVAN

It is said that Saniiswara is a very great devotee of Lord Shiva. As mentioned in the "Navagraha Piidahara Stotram" of "Brahmaanda Puraana", anybody who chants the following stotra is relieved from all the ill-effects of Saniiswara placed in bad houses.

suuryaputrO deerghadEhO viSaalaakshah Sivapriyaha,

mandachaarah prasannatmaa peeDam haratu me Sanihi.

One who prays to Lord Vishnu is protected from Sani as he is said to be a great devotee of Vishnu.

It is also a wide spread belief that one who is an ardent devotee of Lord Sri Lakshminarasimha Swami or Lord Venkateswara (Balaji) is also always protected by Sri Saniiswara.

Except for prayers to Lord Hanuman, Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu you can also chant mantras for Sani to relieve the ill effects of Sani.

Mantra for Sani :

Aum praang priing proung sah Sanaye namaha:

neelaanjana samaabhaasam raviputram yamaagrajam,

chaayaa-maartanda sambhootam tam namaami SanaiScaram.

You can chant this mantra for at least 7 times a day, because Sani is the 7th planet counted starting from the Sun. However, if you are troubled by Sani it would be better to chant the above mantra for 108 times a day.

With love and regards,

Sastry

Dear Dhruv.

Bhakti is eternal.

Please read both 1 and 2 for 108 times. Every time 1 should be followed by 2.
