Om Namah Sivaya

Namaste,

Are you referring to some sort of white light visible during

meditation or prayer ? The light that you are looking for externally

is right in your heart - it is not a white or red or blue light - it

is that light which enables you to eat, see, feel, think, digest,

talk, hear, smell, taste and function. That light is called Atman by

some, God by others, Siva by some, Vishnu by others. Whatever you

call it, it is the light of lights and it is one and it is infinite.

So don't worry about any visible white light experiences.

Here is a good quote from Bhagavad Gita :

jyotishamapi tajjyoti tamasaha paramuchyate

Meaning roughly that God or Atman is the light of lights and much

beyond darkness.

with regards,

Shailendra
