Dear Meena,

Bless you for being non-judgmental towards these souls who will, like

all of us, thrive in that atmosphere and begin to know what love is!

I worked for many years with drug addicts who are also labeled and

judged.

Swami does not judge any of. We have no right to judge another - but

rather we need to act as you are - with love for them.

In Sai's Love,

Asante

Dear Narasimhaye Ji Y god allowed to do karma at the first time and punishing him for doing it, y dont god stop him and control him from doing bad karmas he is the final contoller, he can definitely stop them, like we stop the children from doing wrong things, we dont allow our children do kill someone or do wrong things we stop them y dont the god stop it. Best regards Vignheshnarasimhaye <no_reply > wrote: Namaste Vignhesh, karma was first manifested when humans were created thousands of years ago, maybe more. During that time, people performed good deeds or bad deeds. Then they get reborn again. During rebirths, they either keep repeating same good/bad actions or same karma. Others move from old pattern of karma to create new and good karma. When person takes rebirth, karma follows them in mother's womb. ..."Everything on earth is liable to change ormitigation and if we remember this, we shall be veryoften able to meet 'the objections sometimes raised toSai Baba's statement about karma. In the very openingCharters of Baba's Charters & Sayings, we find thestatement of Baba. `If one puts his foot on Shirdisoil, his karma is abolished'. Many a man wonderswhether that is possible, especially in view of thedictum quoted above, "Avascyam Anubhoktavyam". Babaalso told Chandorkar that certain broad decisionsarrived at as to the birth and death of people aretreated as facts resulting from previous acts ofinviduals.

Regarding birth of a child, death of son-in-law, etc.,about which Chandorkar was anxious to make Baba workon his behalf, Baba declared that they were the resultof previous karma and could not be altered. In a sensethat is true. Certain births and certain deaths areall fixed by series of antecedent events, but yet Babais able to mould these and shape these at certainstages and modify these for the benefit of theconcerned devotees.

When talking of Dr. Chidambaram Pillai, Baba explainedthe correct doctrine. Dr. Pillai had intense sufferingfrom guinea worm. He told a friend to go and report toBaba that his sufferings were intolerable and torequest Baba to transfer these sufferings to some tenlater births of his and leave him free from thesufferings in this janma. When this was reported toBaba, the latter sent for Pillai and told him, `What!you want ten janmas? What has to be endured in tenjanmas can be crushed into ten days by the power ofsatpurushas.'

So Baba ordered him to remain with his legsoutstretched at Dwarakamayee and he told him that acrow would come and peck at his wound and cure him. Ina few days, Abdul, Baba's permanent attendant, carelessly put his foot down upon Pillai's wound andcrushed all the guinea worms out of it, merely byaccident as he (Pillai) would have thought. Butnothing done at the Mosque to Pillai could beconsidered as an accident, and Baba said that Abdulwas the crow, and that no further crow was wanted topeck at Pillai's wound. Pillai was then asked to gohome, and in ten days, the entire suffering fromguinea worm was cured.

In another case, that of Bhimaji, who had seriouschest disease, asthma, tuberculosis, etc., Baba firsttold Shama, `Shama, in bringing this thief to me whata load of responsibility you are placing on me!' Babameant that the tuberculosis, asthma, etc., from whichBhimaji suffered were the result of Bhiinaji's karmain a previous janma consisting of theft. Bhimaji feltBabas declaration a blow. At once he surrenderedhimself to Baba and said, `Helper of the helpless! Iam helpless. Pray show thy pity and grace to me'.

Then Baba's tone changed. Baba told him, `The Fakir(God) is merciful, and your disease will be cured'. Hewas suffering from the results of a karma but thatcould be mitigated, and so the man was sent to liveand sleep in a wet verandah. Bhimaji did so. There, hehad two very dreadful dreams.

In one dream, he was mercilessly birched by a schoolmaster. For, in the dream he fancied he was a boy andthe master was birching him. So, he felt the pain inthe dream and he roared out. In the second dream, itwas even worse. He felt that some one was placing astone roller and rolling it over his breast. Hesuffered all the horror of instant death approachinghim. All the pain of a hanging sentence and whippingsentence were endured by this man in the course of onenight.

Baba thus changed the punishments which he had earnedby his previous karma, and told him that he was thusfree from karmic effects. He then recovered hishealth. The above instances go to show that most ofour conceptions about karma are nebulous andungrounded, and that the safest course for us tofollow would be to be guided by the dicta ofSatpurushas like Sai Baba."..

Best Regards,K.s.Vishwanathan.
