I am proud of your that have acquired new dimensions in the field of spritual knowledge which is indeed a matter of pride not for me only but also for all the members of this group. May the almighty Lord Shiva bless you with more knowledge, vigour & strength to guide the ignorant. Yours Satish Dehadrai, Nagpur. , " Dr.Dhananjay B. My "Best Wishes" to All of You, For A Very Very Very Happy, Healthy, Prosporous, Successful "New Year 2008" With the Blessings of Lord Shiva. Further, "Shivaraatree_2008" is not very much "Far_Off" (Just about `Two Months') from now, and with The Kind Permission of the "Group_Organiser",May I propose and Request all of you that, Let us Plan for some "Special_Achievement" Target to be carried out by that Time. With regards and Best Wishes to all of You, Dr.Ghare, Tuesday, 1st Jan. 2008, 10=30 Hours P.N. Dear shri.Satish Dehadraijee, I find your "Enquiry" Interesting. To the Best of "My Knowledge", both First "Rudra_sookta" (11 Stanza's addressed to 11 Rudra's) and then the so called "chamaka" sookta (just called so because the the Words "cha" and "Me" are repeated again & again), are to be recited for any "Rudraabhisheka". However, these days people do not have "Time", (especially the Priests have to attend a no. of places in short time time therefore, they resort to either abondoning the Recitation of one of them, or recite only a Few Sookta's from both of them). Therefore, in My Opinion, whenever, you are not pressed for "Time" on any perticular day, it is advisable to Recite both (in the Order mentioned above). (if you are used to it, you can finish the reading or Recitation from Memory, of Both the sookta's, in a Period of about 20 to 30 Min.s). Whenever, you are short of Time, (only 10 to 15 Min.s, then) it is ( in My Opinion) better to Recite the Full "Rudra_sookta" (or at least the First "Rudra_sookta" of the 11, when still lesser "Time" is allowable for the Recitation).------------ ---------- ------------> > no_reply > Thu, 27 Dec 2007 07:53:09 +0000> Chanting of Rudras in two ways i.e. Namakam & Chamakam, which way is effective.> > Dear devotees of Shiva> > I would like to know your opinion on above subject matter i.e. in > which chanting of rudra during abhishekams is to be performed & what is > reasoning behind these two methods.> > Shri Satish Dehadrai,> Nagpur. Guest guest
Dear Satishajee, Namaskaara. I am most thankful to you for your kind Words in reply to my infinitesimally small effort. Your words of appreciation, have encouraged me to spend "Some more time", to share my information with others. I am grateful to Gods (Lord Shiva, GaNesha etc.) & the Sages (Like Vyaasa, vaalmikee etc.) for their Blessings in the Form of such Information, which I happen to collect from my Reading about their Books (such as the Vedic sookta's, UpaniShadic and PauraaNic Texts, etc.) and then Thinking-Contemplating on their "Meanings-Context" Combinations etc. Within my limitations ( In line with the Time available, etc.), I shall try to Share my Information, in answer to as many Querries as Possible, which are of "General Interest". With regards and Good Wishes and Thanking once again for your appreciation & Encouragement, Dr. Ghare, Tuesday, 8th Jan. 2008, 14=45 Hours, -------- --------- ------> > no_reply > Wed, 2 Jan 2008 06:17:38 +0000> Re: Happy New Year 2008 & RE: Chanting of Rudras> > Har Hard Mahadev - Shambho Shambho Shambho> > Dear Shri Ghareji, ( Sir )> > I am really thankful to you for enlightning me on my ignorance about > the chanting of rudra during abhishekam.
