SRI MAATRE NAMAHA JAI GURUDEVA DATTA Respected Guruji, Saadara Pranam. I am very happy to see your postings on RUSHIS and FESTIVALS etc., But I am wonderd to note that SKANDA became a master to His father Lord SIVA through your posting on SKANDA SHASTI. I may kindly be excused for one doubt about the SKANDA UPADESAM to His Father Lord Siva about Pranavam. My doubt is whether Lord SIVA is SARVAGNA or not? If HE is SARVAGNA what is the necessity to learn the secret of OM from his Son SUBRAMANYA.. If SIVA is not SARVAGNA why HE is called with the title of SARVAGNA. Probably this theam was come out from the south Indain people as they are very fond of Lord SUBRAMANYA..Even though there is no

fault in worshiping Lord SUBRAMANYA there is no necessity to lift HIM to higher seat than HIS father Lord SIVA. Actually Lord SIVA teached the PRANAVA RAHASYAM to His son Lord SUBRAMNYA according to HARA KUMARA SAMVADAM in BRAHMAYAMALAM duly keepig His title of SARVAGNA. At that juncture how it is possible to allot the title of SIVAGURU to Lord SUBRAMANYA. Please clarify my doubt at the earliest. Pranam, Shastryji. Lord Muruga came to be called Shivaguru because of Lord Shiva's Thiruvilayadal (Divine Play). It does not mean He does not know the meaning of Pranava. He is all knowing..
