Guest guest
'Bhagavan' is generally addressed as " paramatma " & is understood as avyakta means not visible but only seen as Bright Light. When this avyakta paramatma manifests into vyakta for bhakta understading, he has a name & roopa(form). Male form is " SHIV " -one who does Shubha = mangala. His energy(chaitanya)takes the female form named as " SHIVAA " - this is depicted in Artha Naareeswar. Paramatma in Avyakta is " Nirguna, Niraakaara, Aananda Jyotirmayam " - bhakta can realise only through Yoga, dhyanam, tapas - Paramatma reflects in jeeva as Chaitanya but is not bound by karma. Paramatma manifests into Vyakta -name, roopa, Guna -to perform dharma. So Paramatma is described in Puranas as taking Avataras to perform Sishtha rakshana & Dushtha Sikshana. In a human avatar experiences everything like humans but not bound by Maaya- all performed as Leela for human understanding. Guest guest
It should be Shiv. When fringes called us Hindus we accepted it. Same way they said Krishna instead of Krishn. We accepted that. That is the problem with us. English have only 26 alphabets. A lot of our words and names can not be spelled correctly in English. So the Britishers wrote it which ever way they wanted, according to their own rules and we just accepted them. So now it has come to a stage that lot of our people are learning the misinterpretations those foreigners made to our cultural values and accept them as the correct versions of our spiritual science. If you know any of our language please read our books in that language. This way we Can understand them properly. In none of our language we use Shiva. It is Shiv in any any of our language.Shankaree Ramatas <shankaree wrote: Pranam. I believe it is Bhagawan Shiva. Guest guest
SRI MATRE NAMAHA JAI GURUDEVA DATTA Shiv and Krishn are not correct words according to Sanskrit texts like Mahanysam , Rudradhyaayam and Srimad Bhagavatam etc., The correct words are Shiva and Krishna only and those are not mis spelled by britishers are some one. While taking the ancient names like Shiva and Krishna we must depend upon the original sanskrit texts as those are originally mentiond in those Puranaas. That's the right way to be follwed. Due to he peoples talking methods those are taken BHRASTHA RUPAS and those shall not become standard. Genearally the north Indian people called Shiva as Shiv and Krishna as Krishn for their conveniance. Guest guest
SRI MAATRE NAMAHA JAI GURUDEVA DATTA Dear Shri Shailndraji, 'Sadaasivo supreenaatu'. Regarding to your request I want to present the following.. According to 'Mahabhasyakaara Patanjali' words it is leant that all alphabets are having several meanings and those shall be known by Maharshis only ( "Sarve sabdaaha sarvaartha vaachakaaha tadapi yogidrusaa naasmaddrusaaha " ). As such the words 'Si' and 'va' are having several meanings and all those shall be known by Tapas only. However I am hereby giving some meanings about those words. In "Beeja Maalikaa Nighantu" it is said that "Sakaaram lakshmi beejam syaat panchalakshena sidhhyati lakshmivasyaadi sidhhihi syaat chakravartitwa maapnuyaat Ayutenaartha sidhhisyaat indrabhoga mavaapnuyaat vakaaram vaarunam beejam vishghnam mrutyunaasanam " By the above it is learnt that "Si" is Lakshmi beejam whcih gives wealth to the striver as this 'beejam is having the quality of "lakshmivasyaadi samsidhhi". By rendering this the striver may obtain the seat of an Emperer. "Sakaaraadraajasodbhutihi" Nandikeswara vyakhyaa to Maaheswara Sutras. 'Va'kaaram is Vaaruna beejam (Jala beejam) or (Amruta beejam) in which the striver can get 'Artha sidhhi' (fulfilment of desires). The stirver who renders this beejam is also capable to get "Indrabhogam" (equal happyness as like King of Gods i.e., Indra). This ' beejam' is also capable to clear poisons effect and capable to avoid untimly death. In inner meaning it shall be viewed as 'Agnaana Naasiniee' . The 'Agnana' is the main cause for Janma marana chakram. In combination of "Si " and " Va" it shall be turned as MAHAMANTRA and certainly fulfil all the desires of striver who renders as SHIVA or SIVA with full devotion and purity. In Mahanyasam we may find the following slokas "Sivam saantam jagannnatham lokaanugraha kaarinam sivamekam param vande sikaaraaya namo namaha Vaahanam vrushabho yasya vaasukihi kantha bhushanam vaame saktidharam vande vakaaraaya namo namaha " What is the exat meaning of Siva ? In Amarakosa Nighantu with Gurubaala prabodhika vyakhya it is defind as "Sivam Karoteeti Sivaha" Sivam means good and mangalam . The GOD who makes good for his devotees shall be called as 'Siva' . Like wise the word "Samkara" is also having the same meaning according to its Vyutpatti as " Samkarotteti samkaraha " 'sam' means Subham or good. In Sivananda Lahari Achaarya Jagadguru Srimachharaacharya says "Aaroodha bhakti guna kunchita bhaava chaapayuktaiha siva smarana baana ganairamoghaih nirjitya kilbisha riunvijajayee sudhhendra saananda maavahati susthira raajyalakshmeem " SAAMBA SADAASIVA SAMBHO SAMKARA SARANAM ME TAWA CHARANA YUGAM DR.G.S.SUBRAMANYA SASTRY drgsssastry 08554 255680 Bhatnagar_shailendra <bhatnagar_shailendra wrote: > > According TO the VEDA PAATHA (SRUTI) mantiond above, Bhagavan sadaasiva is called as SHIVA only and not as SHIV.
