Bhaanumathi is the noble wife of Kaurava Suyoddhana. She is a mute witness of all that is happening around her and is helpless. ( I am reminded of Mandodari, wife of Paulasthya RaavaNa Btahma , who also was helpless.) Bhaanumathi , I have no idea of her parents, came to Hasthinapur as an young bride of Suyoddhana. She could not say anything against her husband ; but I beleive she along with Gaandhaari Maatha tried to dissuade Dussasana from forcibly dragging Draupadi to Kaurava Court before attempted Vasthra ApaharaNam. Bhaanumathi had to witness the ultimate loss of her husband and others. Only two Kaurava brothers tried to dissuade Dussaasana - one is VikarNa and the other one Yuyuthsa with one difference that during the war Vikarna fought along with other Kauravas against Paandavas and sacrificed his life ( I am reminded of KumbhakarNa ), where as Yuyutsa crossed over to the side of Paandavas ( same as VibheeshaN ) and saved his life.
