Guest guest
> what is difference between Tapas and sadhna ? do both give Mokshya Sadhna is any practical effort that takes us to God- including meditation, Karma Yoga etc. It must be practical- reading some scripture isnt Sadhna till we implement its result in life. Tapas is a misunderstood word. people understand Tapasy to be standing on 1 leg in middle of river chanting some mantra. I understand Tapasya to be use of will power to control our lower nature. So if you eat too much, & you decide to fast 1 day to control hunger, thats Tapsya. If you starve yourself in name of God, thats not Tapasya, thats self-torture. Even things like trying to control mind is Tapasya- & its more powerful than trying to control body. Tapasya is a type of Sadhna. You dont have to do Tapasya to be a Sadhak, as you can be a pure Karm Yogi. love Shantnu

So spiritually speaking Sadhna is higher than Tapas Aum
Guest guest
I am a new member here and would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself to you all. First of all, thank you for allowing me to join this sanctuary. My name is Celeste and I reside in the US. I am the child of Shivaya and Kali Maa. My journey as Their child has just recently begun. I met Maa after I was raped and almost killed 3 years ago. She has been with me ever since. Recently, as I have felt safe enough to let Her have control of my life (which was difficult to do after not being able to control the abuse I have endured), She has introduced me to Shivaya. I was guided here to learn more about being Their child and more about allowing Them to heal me and to change my life. Guest guest
dear shivbhakt celeste om namo bhagawate rudraya poet kalidasa describes lord shiva and parvati as the parents of the universe. you may read any or all works of adi shankara as his works make an ordinary human understand the shiva in him or her. shiva is known as the lord, lord of the lords, one of the holy trinity and he takes various manifestations to bless his devotees in whichever form they see the lord. simply put, this body without the soul is shava (dead) and the life force in the body is shiva. on a metaphysical plane, we at this holy group strive to respect the shiva in all of us and praise his glories and seek his blessings in serving the shiva in one another. all yugas have witnessed one consistent greatness of lord shiva where any and everyone taking refuge at lord shiva's lotus feet or merely taking his name as the saviour, received the blessings of lord shiva. by accepting yourself as the child of shiva, you are feeling the divine shiva in yourself and the shiva in you will guide you on the right path. the human body inevitably gets destroyed and merged into the dust and only the soul is pristine pure which is comprehensible through the realised human mind. spiritual leaning and devotion towards lord shiva helps the human mind understand the shiva better. the so called realisation and enlightenments are related to truth and the quest of truth (god or shiva). with best wishes and blessings pandit arjun www.rudraksharemedy.com , Deep within the Lotus <frozen_winter_tears wrote: > > I am a new member here and would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself to you all. > > First of all, thank you for allowing me to join this sanctuary. > > My name is Celeste and I reside in the US. THERE IS ,AND CAN NEVER BE ANY THREAT TO HINDUISM FROM ANY OTHER RELIGION OR PERSON.I FEEL MORE N MORE PEOPLE ARE MAKING THEMSELVES AWARE OF HINDUISM N ITS PHILOSPHY.AND TRYING TO INCORPORATE THE BASIC TENETS OF HINDUISM IN THEIR DAY TO DAY LIVING.
