Dear Reddy garu,

 

Namaste. As per my knoledge concerned there is no M.P. 3 Formet

for this Dattatreya Stotram available. This Stotra was presented by

me from a Tape recorder casette which was recorded by me 24 years

back while my father was rendering. He was a great scholer in

ancient sastras. Vidwan,Vaidya vidwan,

Kaveeswara,Vidyanidhi,Sarvatantra swatantra, Ayurvedalankara,

Jyotirvidabharana , Kavisimha, Satavadhani Dr.Alukur Gollappinni

Vasudeva sastry is my father.He was rendered that stotra along

with 'Sivemeede stotram' and 'Upadesha Panchaka Darpana stotram'

with a brief commentary at my request. It is learnt that those are

not available on print so far

 

I am ready to give those stotras for any person who come

forward to print or prepare M.P.3 Formet for the circulation of our

group members without any commercial view. If any one who is

SRI MAATRE NAMAHA Dear Sir, Namaste. I am happy about your interest regarding that Stotra particularley. Now I am preparing an Audio C.D..form for tha tstotra along with UPADESHA PANCHAKA DARPANA STOTRA of Sri Aadisankara and SIVAMAHIMNA STOTRA of Gandharva raja PUSHPADANTA. But there is a problem in it. It was recorded with the above stotra along with speech on Sri Saibaba of Shiridi by my late brother. Those casettes was recorded for my personal use as such all other as mentiond above are added in that cassetts. That C.D.also containg other speech of my father on 'Soundarya Lahari ' of Sri Aadisankara and some other stotras rendered by my mother and step mother also. If you are intersted you may send Rs.100 / -- for postal and recording charges to my address as mentiond in my previous reply. Dear Sastry Ji,

 

I certainly have NO desire to do anything commercial with it. My body dwells mostly in the US though, so I don't see how it will be possible given your conditions.

 

There would be NO charges in preparing it, though I don't see how you add names on to a MP3. I only offered to convert the magnetic tape into a digital file in a MP3 and/or .wav format. I am not interested in burning CDs for people or mailing them out. I would post the stotram in the group files, send it to you, or send it to people that requested it.

Dear Sir,

 

The cost of preparation is free. It is not that difficult and shouldn't take too much time. There will be no change in the voice. I am only converting the sound from an analog (tape) format to a digital one. I will clean up hiss on the tape if there is any, as best I can. I have a filter in my program for that.

Dear Sastriji,

 

I think you are misunderstanding my posts. While I am happy to convert your audio for you before it becomes lost, it is not something that I am going to pay for. Other renditions are available.

 

Magnetic audio tapes are not meant to last much more than 10 years or so, though some do last a bit longer. They will definitely deteriorate or become damaged over time. If you want to preserve your father's recording, I am willing to help you. If not, I am sure you can easily find someone more locally in India.

Like wise the Ganga Lahari of Jagnnatha Pandita Rayalu is also enriched with brief commentary on the poetic values of the great poet.. My father also expressed his valuable opinion about the great writings of Sri Sankaracharya like Sivananda Lahari and Sowndarya Lahari etc., As my father was not welversed in English he presented his commentaries in his own mother tongue Telugu only. Those are all originally intended to me when I recorded them for my personal use. I humbly request all not to use this stotras for any commercial purpose as per the desire of my late father, and copy right rules should not be violated.
