God alone can remove the dirt around our atma (I entity in you).

A short story:

Once a mischievous son in his very tender age started troubling his

father. Father told him hereafter for every mistake / sin of yours I

will put one nail each on the wall in one of the room. The boy did not

pay attention to it. As he was growing up one day he felt humiliated

that the entire room was full with nails. He cried and knelt before

his father and asked, ‘Dad! How to stop this way of life?’. Father

said, ‘Hereafter for every good deed of yours I will remove one nail

each from the wall’. The grown up boy decided to do good and shortly

with great struggle all the nails were made removed.

Now again the boy went and asked his father, ‘Dad! I am happy that all

the nails were removed from the wall, but the marks are still left?

How to remove the marks?’. Then the father said, ‘If a currency is

spoiled by repeated use by many, the Reserve Bank alone can take and

return a new note. Similarly, we have been doing good and bad

repeatedly over several births. God alone can clean the marks

around our atma. Please ask your father of father Paramathma’.

In this story the boy represents mind and father represents buddhi

(Intellect) and father of father is Paramatma which is nothing but the

Supreme Paramathma. Once Manas (mind-mano thrupthi) merges with Buddhi

(Intellect-Jeevan mukthi) through a Guru, the path is directed towards

Paramathma (Atma Shanthi).

Otherwise it is diverted and danced towards this World ceaselessly.

i.e., the manas never understands the Truth and has no thrupthi;

the jeevam (a spark encased with rupam) never does

Atma-orineted-Action (atma Karma) and has not mukthi; and finally the

Jeevathma never gets Atma-Shanthi.
