Guest guest
Om Namah Sivaya Lord Shiva is described as - " achintayam avyaktam anantarupam " in the Veda. He is also described as Turiya - the fourth state " shantam shivam advaitum " . So what is Shakti ? Is it same as the Maya Shakti of Brahman (as described by Vedantins) ? Is Shakti the Brahmyoni or the mool Prakruti from which the creation has emerged ? Note that Lord Shiva is described as avyaktam (means unmanifest). So is Shakti different from Shiva or just an incomprehensible power of Shiva ? Isn't it like fire and heat ? Are'nt Shiva and Shakti same but still Lord Shiva is called avyaktam ? thanks and best regards, Shailendra
Guest guest
Shiva and Shakthi are one and the same , yet they are separate. One cannot exist without the other, both are interdependent. Shiva is all primordial matter Pancha Bhootha, Pancha Thanmaathra, Pancha Karmendriya , Pancha Jnaanendriya, Saptha Dhaathus, Mano Buddhi Chittha Ahankaara. Shakthi is all primordial energy that is there - all forms of energy, physical and biological . Shiva is lik an electric bulb ; Shakthi is electricity. Unless electricity is switched on one cannot see the light in the electric bulb etc. When Primordial Energy activates Primordial Matter , then Shakthi and Shiva become one and same . SHAKTHI VINAA SHIVA SAVASCHA= without energy (SHAKTHI matter (SHIVA) is Lifeless. Guest guest
SRI MAATRE NAMAHA Halaaayudha in his Halayudhastavam tells 'Yeko devaha sajayati sivaha kevala gnaanamurtee deveesaacha tribhuvanamidam yadvibhuti prapanchaha yatkutasttham midhunamavanaabhaaa sambandhi yogaat misreebhutam tadakhila jagajjanma beejam namaami " Lord Siva is to be understood by all as Gnanamurti [having knoledge which is not having any connection with GNAATA and GNEYA as it is eternal and SWAYAMPRAKASA also. Godess Bhavaani is also same as Siva, as She is to be understood as magnficient form of all worlds. They are mingled with each other as no one can seperate them. I offering my pranams to that holy couple by whoom the entire creation was formed. Srimachhankara Bhagwat pujyapada in his 'Soundarya lahari' describes 'Sivassaktya yukto yadibhavati saktaha prabhavitum nachedevam devo nakahalu kusalaha spanditumapi atastwwa maaraadhyam harihara virinchaadibhrapi pranantum stotum vaa kathamakruta punyaha prabhavati Siva can do anything if He is associted with Shakti only. Other wise He may not able to put one step forward. As such O! Goddess Bhavani! you are worshipped by Hari, Hara and Brahama. Any person even cannaot worship or praise you if he was not earned any PUNYA. The wisdom and Power should act unitedly in the striver as such he may understand the VISWA RAHASYAM and VISWAATEETA RAHASYAM so as he may find SIVA and SAKTI in himself and he may attains KAIVALYA for ever. Let us think that wisdom is SIVA and the manifestation of power is SHAKTI.
