Guest guest
Om Namah Sivaya Kaivalya Upanishat - verse 7 umaasahaayaM parameshvaraM prabhuM trilochanaM niilakaNThaM prashaantam.h .dhyaatvaa munirgachchhati bhuutayoniM samastasaakshiM tamasaH parastaat.h .. This is a very beautiful verse and most words can be understood even without knowledge of Sanskrit. The celextel (www.celextel.org) translation is (but it misses the beauty of the original) "Meditating on the highest Lord, allied to Uma, powerful, three-eyed, blue-necked, and tranquil, the holy man reaches Him who is the source of all, the witness of all and is beyond darkness (i.e. Avidya)." I have a question about the verse. Should we meditate on Uma Maheshvara or should we meditate on Shivlinga or meditate on breath. Please share your experience. regards, Shailendra
