Guest guest
Dear Kanish Ji, There is nothing on the post below to indicate that Siva is cruel. But the cycle of birth-death thru karmic deeds always leads to misery. You may be happy in one life and as a result, the karmic deeds that are performed (or not performed) become the cause of misery in the next. Realisation of Siva can alone pave the way for liberation from this cycle....this is alas a fact of life, just look around you and you will see this....a begger spend whole day in heat begging and still cannot get enough to eat and then look at a rich person who may employ thousands of people in his factory and owns several cars and a private jet......just look at the contrast. And the interesting thing is that the poor begger might have been a rich man in one of the previous lives but did nothing help other with his wealth. No need to blam Siva, this is just karmic law and maya. Guest guest
Om Namah Sivaya Dear Sri Kanishk, I don't think you undestood the hymn properly. Saint Tayumanavar was one of the gifted Saivite saints. Please read the first two lines of the hymn together first and the other lines. "All is by Siva's Will" -This I realize not. . . .All the sinful thoughtsThat day by day assail me,I drive not away.Swept into the flood of desires,I am caught in that swirlAnd there in vain I struggleGathering the tangles of repeated birth,The sinner that I am! In truth when you totally surrender everything as Siva's Will then there would be no thoughts arise in your mind and you would not create further karmas.
