Sarvam Sivam, Dear Friends, Vanakkam, I am in need of some directions/help in the following issue. My uncle passed away a couple of weeks before. All the karyams related are over now. Now I will be going to Rameswaram in the coming week. People say, one should not enter into the temple for atleast 30 days after a death in their family. Now I just can't bear the thought of going to Rameswaram and could not get the Darshan of OUR FATHER there. Could any one please guide me in this regard, could I go to the temple, take bath in the sea?. Sivaya Namaha, Punith Balu

..Harahara Mahadev Dear One, You can visit temple after 21 days from the death date .During first 11 days( in very few cases) / or 21 days the Soul along with Karana Sharira moves/rotates( which left the materialistic body) around his/her family , house or works place( just like fan never stop instantaneously after switch- off of electrical power because of its inertia. This is the reason the family members better not to leave for long distances/use vehicles. After karma- Kanda and santhi( 21 days) the soul along with karana sharira gets Shanti and clears , start searching for next suitable feotus. Namaskaar PunithTake bath in the sea first then go for Darshan. When you go to the sea pray to Ganga Ma to purify you with the following mantraJal Shuddhi MantraAum Gange Cha Yamune Chaiva Godaavari, Sarasvati Naarmade Sindhu Kaaveri Jalesmin Sannidhim KuruTransO Gangaa, Yamunaa, Godaavari, Saravati, Naarmade, Sindhu, Kaaveri come into this water !Recite this mantra in the following wayStand at the edge of sea, where the sea, the land and the air meet. Firstly look at the Sun, connect your self to the sun mentally and then visualize the rays of the sun in the following colors entering the water (yellow, white, red, blue, green, purple, silver and gold) from the sun. When this is done properly you should notice a change in how the water feels. (take your time and concentrate)Wait a while,( 15 minutes) then collect the sand from the sea and follow this procedure.Take a good

quantity of sea sand (30lbs approximately) and mix with sea water then paste (thick paste) all over your body. While it is on you, mentally picture all negative energy (in the form of a black colour ) going out from your body ( going from your head down to your feet) and into the sand, (take your time and concentrate on all of the energy being released into the sand ). Take care not to leave the sand for anyone to step on or cross this sand as they will absorb what you release. When you get up go and release this into the sea. When you are bathing in the sea, concentrate on the energy of the water purifying you ( feel and visualize this)Remember to say thanks to Ganga Ma.Namah SivayaBest Regards Pandit Devindra Maharajsumi balu <mymy062004 wrote: Sarvam Sivam, Dear Friends, Vanakkam, I am in need of some directions/help in the following issue. Dear Punith,

Very Sad to know about your uncle, May his soul rest in peace.

If there is a tradition like that you have to follow, but do not

worry God knows everything, our inner thoughts our feelings and

sincereity, What matters is your love and devotion to the God.

Om namah shivaya,

Love and Light,

Divakar.
