Guest guest
The Arunachala Hill is full of Sidhhars even now. The Siddhars are not visible to the common eye, however They show up to the rare Bhakta, who is deserving the darshan. A close friend of mine does the Girivalam (Giri Pradakshnam) every month for the past ten years. He is a Seeker of the Lord's Grace and does not seek worldly boons from the Lord. He has miraculous experiences with Arunachaleshwara and the Siddhars. He is a high ranking corporate executive and when he had gruelling time in his offiialdom, in a couple of his Girivalams, Sidhhas have appeared and given him the vital clues for solving his crisis in one or two lines and those clues would appear on the face of it innocuous. But in a minute he would unravel the misery and understand that those were the answers that was deluding him. And on realisation, if he would look up to the Siddhas, they would not be visible in the same spot where he had seen them just less than a minute ago. Once, at about 11 pm he started his Girivalam along with his 12 year old nephew who had come from the USA, and whose birthday it was to dawn at midnight that day. The boy asked him if the Siddhas would appear that day for him. My friend replied that if he deserved, they would. The boy would not believe and said how would they show up that day. Even as this question was being put, the time was five minutes to 12 midnight, they were nearing Varuna Lingam sannithi. (Varuna Lingam is one of the Eight Lingams around the Hill) My friend told the young boy, " There is none in the whole of this area now. for you specially, the Siddhas might even appear so that at midnight now exactly you would be able to get darshan of the Aarathi to Varuna Lingam and a Siddhar might appear and make it for you. " As they reached the Sannithi it was a couple of minutes to midnight and the sannithi was locked. My friend comforted the boy who was on the one hand doubting and on the other hand very much craving for it to happen. Suddenly in one minute, some one from nowhere appeared with the key, opened the Sannithi and performed Aarathi at midnoght exactly at the dawn of the birthday of the boy. Even as they had darshan and worshipped the Aarthi the Siddha disappeared after locking the Sannithi even before these two could get out of the Sannithi precincts. Such is the power of the Hill and the Siddhas who reside there. They answer a true Bhakta without fail, they strive to prove the Bakhta right always. With prayers to Arunachaleshwara for the well being of one and all Shankar , Dhruv <dhruvitime wrote: > > Wow, what a great siddha place! Guest guest
Om NamaShivaya, Each Person have their own experience with our beloved lord and His beloved Siddhars. Siva at Thiuvannammalai,Annamalaiyar is one who is older than the oldest, later than the latest. Which is His kingdom, what is His name, who are His relatives, who are strangers to Him? Although He does not have any particular place or name which can be called His own,But He is friend of the needy, the poor, for, like a servant, He hearkens to our call and does not hesitate to grace our homes and gives unto us His lotus feet. Om Arunachaleswaraya Namaha Ramya , " n.umashankar " <n.umashankar wrote: > > > The Arunachala Hill is full of Sidhhars even now.
