Guest guest
This line of conversation truly reveals how deeply the Love of Shiva has infused the hearts of some in differing degrees. It's wonderful to know He dwells with us & knows our needs. Remember, the love you show others is like a boomerang....it eventually...in some form...returns to the sender. Guest guest
NamaskaarI am most curious what you all are ranting and raving about. - making fun of the group ?There are two general categories of prayerNirguna - Prayer to God purely for devotion without request of any kindSaguna - Prayer to God with a particular purpose in mind.If a group member approaches the group and requests a prayer for a CHILD,how on earth could this be making fun of the group ?Further the person was honest and direct in their request, we can either choose to pray for the child or not. Don't you think that this is showing compassion for a fellow being or do we have to have some special circumstance.?If this was allowed by the group owner, then what's the problem? If we pray to Sivaji for some assistance to a CHILD, will we become some how lessened - I don;t think so !!Sangeeta may contact me directly and I will advise her what things she can do to help her childNamah SivayaPandit Devindra Maharaj"P. Guest guest
As many have already said, to request for prayers has to be seen without any negative feelings. As has been said, the degree of importance to any issue varies from person to person. Obviously, the lady who has a UKG child must be a very young person herself and she needs the passionate and affectionate guidance rather than reprimand, even if she were wrong. In any case, we all are supposed to pray for the well being of one and all - Sarve Loka Sukhino Bavantu - My prayers to Lord Shiva for the well being of one and all and peace in every mind. shankar , " b_jamnadas " <b_jamna> wrote: > > Invoking Brahmastra to kill a roach??....Are we so sure that we have > within us to to be able to make a claim like this? > > Each person has a different opinion of what is important. Guest guest
if someone approaches with a request for help, as shiv bhakts we should oblige it and try to help them, we can correct them and guide them in the path of the lord. The most effective way to impress god is by doing good rest all is secondary. Nothing is more serious and important than helping others, however small and silly it might seem to us, as a child'd mother Sangeeta might feel something is wrong with her child's ability to read and memorize, which is a big issue for her and not for us.
