Guest guest
Namaste Shastri.r.d, I did sadhana for Ganapati Ji about 10 years ago with mantra " Om GuNg Ganapataye Namaha " . Mantra was performed each morning at 4am after taking bath or shower. Offerings were fruits, modakas, ladoos, milk, jaggery, unsalted nuts and flowers (Hibiscus, said to be His favorite). Mantra recited 108 times using rudraksha mala over a period of 90 days, then rest for 2 weeks and commence mantra again. Six months later, there was a fire that lit up the altar and looked like it burned everything as flame was high. To my surprise after careful examination of the altar, nothing was burnt, the wooden altar had only some dark markings. All the offerings and Ganesh Ji's murti were not affected. This was a surprising momennt for me as I couldn't work out the reason for the flame because all windows and doors were shut and there were no fire hazards in the puja room. Later when I meditated deeper and asked Ganeshji for guidance, I realised that the fire incident was an auspicious moment during which Ganesh Ji blessed me with His Darshan. Upon realization of that, I made a thanksgiving for Him and Mushika (I got some paneer (veg Indian cheese) for Mushika. , " ramanatha sastry " <drsastry wrote: > > namaste Sarathi, > there is no message from you > > , arp_sarathy <no_reply@> wrote: > > > > > > , " ramanatha sastry " <drsastry@> > > wrote: > > > > > > Pranams, > > > I like to know any one who is doing Ganesha Sadhana.
