I believe the universe knows more about you then do you yourself know. I believe the universe knows what you need and when you need it. Thus in regards to your desire for a guru - i belive the universe can sense your desire, and like a mother that knows when it's child is hungry just by the sound of it's cries - but at the same time - holds the child accountable to a proper feeding schedule with a proper diet - i believe the universe (Kali Ma) will bring you what you need, when you need it. I find it helpful for me to constantly remind myself that in life, everyone is my guru, my cats, my parents, my family, my friends, my enemies, strangers on the street - from everything - can i find something to learn.
