Pranati For Prabhupada

Hi Rob,

In the original Pranati HDG writes nirvisesha = no difference. It is an

unqualified word in this verse that hardly means Mayavadis or Shunyavadins.

Therefore it is not useful. What prof Shastri did was not change any words in

the verse and keep the meaning exactly same as English translation... Which it

now does, perfectly.

What you propose is changing the meaning away from the original to focus on your

own agenda, or your own idea. And this is interpretation only, not a matter of

grammer.

My suggestion is possible, but your idea could never happen, unless you want to

discuss Sanskrit with the greatest on Earth, and get him to change the meaning

to suit you and GBC.

I'm trying to keep prabhupada's meaning, your looking to change it. I suggest

you write your own anti-sahajia sloka, but don't call it as a " prabhupada "

composition, which it is not.

Personally I worked with Prabhupada 2 weeks on Upadesamrita translation, and

never once heard him mention Sahajiya. In fact, as far as Mayavad and Shunyavad

go, they both consider Bhakti to be Sahajiya.

Hi Rob,

Also, please qualify your Sahajiya, as " Prakrita Sahajiya " (I assume this is

what you're on the rag about), because there is is nothing wrong with " easy "

sahaj. Compared to Shunyavad and Brahmavad, Bhakti IS easy. It's a lot easier to

" love Krishna " than it is to be attracted toward the Void.
