Guest guest
Hinduism is not a religion but a way of life. Unlike other religions, Hindu dharma has many specialties. This is not known as a religion, it is known as the dharma; Sanaathana Dharma. Sanaathana means, according to Bhagavath Geetha, which cannot be destroyed by fire, weapons, water, air, and which is present in all living and non living being. Dharma means, the way of life which is the `total of all aachaaraas or customs and rituals'. Sanaathana Dharma has its foundation on scientific spirituality. In the entire ancient Hindu literature we can see that science and spirituality are integrated. It is mentioned in the 40th chapter of the Yajurveda known as Eesaavaasya Upanishad that use scientific knowledge for solving problems in our life and use the spiritual knowledge for attaining immortality through philosophical outlook. Guest guest
No where in the Vedas-Upanishad-adi-Itihas Puranas is the word Hindu mentioned. I don't know who coined the word Hindu. Is it a original Sanskrit word? It's a Hindi word? But from where? Before or after the British did the word Hindu come into play? I have no idea. Again, where in Vedic literature is " Navaratna " mentioned? Or, Rudraksha is for different planets? What is the meaning of Vedic literature? When is the new stuff too new to be Vedas? I have no idea... sacred-objects , Rahul Sharma <toneyrahulsharma wrote: > > Hello HinduDevotional > Â > Â Â Â Â Where in Vedas it is written that there is a HINDU Religion? > Â > Thanks > > > > > RAHULSHARMA > Jai Shri Ganesh > Gajaananam bhoodha ghanaathi sevitham > kabhitha jamboo palasara pakshitham > umaasutham sokha vinaasakaranam > namaami vigneswara paadha pankajam > > --- On Thu, 1/7/10, HinduDevotional <hindudevotionalpower wrote: > > > HinduDevotional <hindudevotionalpower > Hindu Religion > sacred-objects > Thursday, January 7, 2010, 9:50 PM > > > Â > > > > Hinduism is not a religion but a way of life.
