Guest guest
Were the Pandava brothers stupid to gamble away their wife and wealth? If God advised them, "No gambling!" then an entire massacre could have been avoided! I don't question Krishna lila, but it does sound kind of absurd. Five brothers, friends with God, who appear as morons to gamble away their wife and kingdom. Dah! Just a silly perspective...Richard Shaw Brown, PGMusician, Designer, Gemologist & Authorwww.richardshawbrown.com Get your new Email address! Guest guest
If we see in details Pandavas too were culprits in Mahabharata, mostly we find kauravas at fault but that is not true imho. *Karna's birth when Kunti just gave a try for vardana she got, wanted to test it? *Draupadi's laugh on Duryodhan with a famous line blind's son are also blind. *Yudhishthir's half false half true line on Ashvasthama. *Bhim's last blow on a wrong place of Duryodhan(this I doubt as his action though as Shri Krishna gave a sign to him to do it but karta was Bhim so he is at fault). *Again it was ordered by Shri Krishna but as per niti shashtra(Hi Richard ji)it was wrong to use Shikhandi as sarathi again Bhishma. >>There are many fools who blame God for entire Mahabharat but Shri Krishna clearly told Gandhari that "now stop loving your sons"(I forgot exact shloka unfortunately)when Kaurava denied to gave an inch of land to Pandava, here Shri Krishna gave a clear cut singal of future outcome to Gandhari.<<Richard ji we are too small to understand his lila. *Last but not the least, when you gamble your kingdom and your wife, you in short sure to be a looser. There can be many more examples like above but right now only above striking my mind. --- On Fri, 12/11/09, Richard Shaw Brown <rsbj66 wrote: Richard Shaw Brown <rsbj66 How dumb can you be??"Sacred Objects Group" <sacred-objects >, "Planetary Group" <planetary-gemology >Friday, December 11, 2009, 10:10 AM Were the Pandava brothers stupid to gamble away their wife and wealth? Guest guest
Thanks. Good points. For that matter, Krishna could have NOT created this Maya at all, or not inpegnated Maya with Jivatmas in the first place. So, basically, It's all Gods creation, it's Gods lila, it's God's fault. God made a very faulty material creation, and it was nasty of Him to create Jivatmas and then inject them into Maya. It's like a bad-boy burning ants with a magnifying glass. But, mainly, God should choose smarter friends. Those dumb Pandavas were outsmarted fair and square. DUH!!
