Dear Shashi,

hehe, this is a somewhat secret subject. Gemologically speaking, the difference

is very easy to distinct. Demantoids have higher refractive index than Green

Diamonds.

But first - You must know there are different kinds of the Demantoid, and if

You want to know the difference between a Tsavorite from that one mine with a

Demantoid - it has to be a Russian one. There is nothing in the scriptures and

flawless Russian Demantoids, with the SPECIAL brilliant-cut most only old

gem-cutters in S.T Petersburg for example knows how to do is very expensive. The

material must be 1ct or more. For me a 1kt of a Russian is a large gem - if the

colour is perfect. There is only one importance - the color; many demantoids

with lighter color displays their refractiveness much more, but the power lies

within the darker colored.

All I can say is that this gem is not something simply to please Budhya/Mercury

Sir.. This gem holds a power I don't know if I can speak about but You will

learn it if God gives You the priviliege trough use and, well he is the only one

to teach You about this on earth. I can say that it has to do with light.. and

is related to a much " higher " part of God's Administration than Mercury.

Therefore I am not sure if people who has a bad placed Mercurey could use this

stone. But do not choose anything else than Russian from the Ural-mountains,

found by good individuals trough years of their searching, hand cut by a master

in the same country and do not mount this stone in anything else than platinum.

This may sound strange but this is what I can release. And again no, this is not

from the scriptures Mr Richard knows so well.

Wish You Good - Be Carefull,

Sincerely Yours //Stefan

Demantoid is the green gemstone variety of the mineral andradite, a member of

the garnet group of minerals. Andradite is a calcium- and iron-rich garnet. It

is the most expensive and rare of garnet gemstones, with fine specimens

commanding prices of thousands of dollars per carat (thousands per gram). The

chemical formula is Ca3Fe2(SiO4)3 with chromium substitution as the cause of the

demantoid green color. Ferric iron is the cause of the yellow in the stone.

It has the misnomers olivine,[2] and Uralian emerald.

In approximately 2003, reports began to circulate in the trade[3] that some

Russian Demantoid garnets were being routinely subjected to heat treatment in

order to enhance their colour. Such treatment is believed to be performed at

relatively low temperatures and is not thought to be detectable by gemmological

testing.

---Stick with Tsavorite, which is same as Hessonite or Grossular and is a much

better color and Uparatna for Mercury.

Best wishes

Richard
