Guest guest
Dear Sir,What are the differences between following Natural ruby??1) Faced Ruby2) Star Ruby3) Ruby CabochonWhat are the astrological differences of above motioned ruby??Does all represent Planet "SUN"??Which one is best ruby to wear? Does it Burma, Srilankan or African,Thailand? ??Does any less effect if ruby has not VSS,VS1,SI2 Cliarity Scale??I await your reply.Reply...You're not asking about quality, your only asking about shape or cutting. A ruby must be transparent and mostly flawless to be Jyotish qualty, regardless the cutting. But if a ruby has many flaws or is translucent or opaque then it's junk regardless of the cutting style. Example: a flawless ruby can also be cut as cabachon if so desired. If the amount of included rutile needles is high it may adversely effect clarity, but will often show a star chatoyant light effect in dome cut.Otherwise most indian cabachon shaped non transparent ruby is actually just junk reddish corrundum that's industrial quality and is not fit to wear for jyotish at all.
