Guest guest
Dear all,I recently acquired two 13 carats each Shanka-mani or Conch Pearls. One we bought for the museum, and one piece I go for puja.. After cleaning the conch pearl I put it inside the Lakshmi Shank cavity area, which it about fills by half.So we have a Lakshmi Shank (genuine) containing a Conch Pearl, and this is used to bath Shalagram daily. So that's a first in puja... perhaps...I don't have a picture of my two conch pearls; except the attached example from GIA. Shank-moti or Shankh-mani are given in Sru Garudra Puranam, as highly auspicious.
