Guest guest
Dear Mr. Little Angel, This is the longitudinal section (LS) of a genuine rudraksha. The section is showing two well developed elongated empty locules without any seeds and a central channel for threading. The transeverse section through the rudraksha will show the circular locules (and not elongated as in present case) if they are well developed. The relation, mukhi equal to locules will be seen only in transeverse section (TS of the rudraksha fruit). If your rudraksha is 5 mukhi; it will show 5 locules (with or without seeds). No body will make fake 5 mukhi bead. 4, 5 and 6 mukhi beads are available in large numbers. Artisans make fake beads below 4 mukhi and 7 mukhi onwards. Thanking you and with best wishes, Dr. Chandrashekhar Phadke Pune, India--- On Thu, 20/8/09, Little Angel <littleangelicdevil wrote: Little Angel <littleangelicdevil is this fake or real rudraksh?
