Guest guest
You seem to be in a little hurry to deny facts Ole!This is NOT my collection first of all, this mala shown in above photograph is perhaps 80 to 90 years older or even much older, lot of Abhisheka and chandan must have applied to it during these years.Point to be noted is beads have not turned black, this is the most important thing to be note down.About thorny part Ole what we are reading now or gathered is a story told to us by vendors, all genuine Rudraksha carries Lingam on its surphase now again check that photo. One more observation I recently came to know from one forum is if our Rudraksha is genuine and if we press the bead on softer skin of our body it will leave an impression of Om on it! I have tried this and I could see a clear image of Om on by skin(though nothing like Om was on the surphase of bead). There are many kinds of Rudraksha like Bindu Rudraksha,Sinhasan(Asana)Rudraksha,Bhairav Rudraksha,Naag Rudraksha,Gupta Mukhi Rudraksha,1/2 mukhi,3/4 mukhi,1.25 mukhi,1.5 mukhi and 1.75 mukhi Rudraksha,Kamala Rudraksha,Chaturbhuj Rudraksha,Nandi Rudraksha,Ubhar Pushtiya Rudraksha,Jatadhari Rudraksha(very very rare bead) etc, have you heard these names?I recently saw photographs of them and I was stunned-stumped. regards from TPm--- On Mon, 8/10/09, Ole Alstrup <alstrup wrote: Ole Alstrup <alstrupRe: I ve uploaded a photo in albumsacred-objects Date: Monday, August 10, 2009, 9:13 PM Wrong. Some of these these beads do not seem as if they were cleaned sufficiently, difficult to judge how thorny they are. I have seen immature beads with better mukhi definition than these. You cannot judge maturity of beads by the darker color alone, mature beads will be heavy due to seeds inside being larger/more fully developed. Rudraksha shastra also cites different color of beads. tpmods <tpmods >sacred-objectsMonday, 10 August, 2009 20:27:46 I ve uploaded a photo in album Have a close look at it,name of album is Genuine fully ripen Rudraksha ,go to view and select original size for viewing. Now do we get such beads?NO!See how well mukhs are defined and also see beautiful Gauri Shankar Rudraksha there.
