Guest guest
Unprovable " opinions " , e.g., gems must be a certain number carat weight, or MUST touch the skin, or small gems don't work, or gems should be selected for harmful planets, or for favorable planets, or very flawed gems are acceptable, or a cultured pearl is a REAL pearl, or heat-enhanced gems have no powers, or donating gems is beneficial, or gems must be set in certain impractical metals otherwise " powerless " !, etc., cannot yet be presented as facts. In NO valid scripture or acceptable provable science is this valid. But, it is correct to say that " Planetary Gem Advisers " are of these varied opinions even though this is NOT supported by any valid scripture or acceptable provable science. Gems are believed to act metaphysically or astrologically, but proving that gems have such " powers " would be the first step toward scientific acceptance. So far this has proved impossible. Whoever can show scientifically that gems have powers, would become World-famous, as that would open a whole new branch of science. For example, we could measure the amount of God in a Murti or Shila, we could measure Bhakti and Jnana. We could prove reincarnation. It would revolutionize the world. Keep in mind, to prove a gems has NO metaphysical powers is very easy for any scientist to prove right now. From a scientific standpoint. ---Religions that recognize Navaratna * Hindu * Jain * Sikh * Buddhist Richard Shaw Brown, PG Musician, Designer, Gemologist & Author www.richardshawbrown.com Get your preferred Email name!
