Guest guest
Dear All, Navaratna is adored by the Buddhists, Jains, Sikhs, and different types of Hindus. My question is why is it almost impossible to find mention of Navaratna in all Vedic Shastra? Is there any mention anyone can quote besides one verse in Naradiya Puranam? Also, can anyone give reference to Navaratna in Jainism, Sikhism, Buddhism? Navaratna is official only in Thailand as Royal Symbol, name of Bangkok, and high Royal award, Ancient Auspicious Order of the Nine Gems. This is open research... Thanks! Guest guest
Yes, in the Brhat Jataka is ONE verse, often repeated. But is that Vedic? In Naradiya Puranam is one verse on Navaratna, but the never use the term Navaratna. In Garuda Puranam is section on gems, again NO mention of Navaratna. Where is the word " Navaratna " used in Veda-Purana-Mahabharat-Ramayana-Brahma sutra, Manu Samhita, etc., even ONCE ?? sacred-objects , " tpmods " <tpmods wrote: > > Our books only speak of Any ratnas after imergence of Bhrigu Samhita's era if my guess is right, older shashtras perhaps speak on living substance and yantras(afterwards) and not any stones.Someone told me once that there is a possibility of Yogas for different Grahas once upon a time but now its vanished or not heard of ex.Surya Namaskara. > > sacred-objects , " Richard Shaw Brown " <rsbj66@> wrote: > > > > Dear All, > > > > Navaratna is adored by the Buddhists, Jains, Sikhs, and different types of Hindus.
