Guest guest
Anne, till the condition that what I said is experienced by you, the pain you experience is real for you. Seers have shown this again and again that such a state is possible where you experience the pain and yet let the suffering go - this is also my experience. In any case, that is the whole point of what I am saying, no matter how much you talk of vedanta or how much you have personally experienced, there is almost no escape from the memory and the thought. It is why we are alive to begin with.I reject the scriptures (in a limited sense) because they just dont help yuo deal with your day to day life. --- On Thu, 5/14/09, anne thakur <annethakur wrote:anne thakur <annethakur no such thing as sufferingsacred-objects Date: Thursday, May 14, 2009, 4:17 PM tell physical and mental pain the anguish of my very ill mother with alzheimers anyone, tell them what they are experiencing isnt real sorry but i cannot agree with you
Guest guest
Sir, Simply rejecting the stone-cold facts does not answer anything nor benefit anyone besides mental asylum workers. Your philosophy is plain agnostic nihilistic atheism. Seems like a mess to me. I think everyone needs a real spiritual master, and are entitled to differing views so long as they obey the law and are harmless. Guest guest
The need to categorize based on our assumptions is very strong, it is ok to give in to this need so long as you realise that it grants you no special status in the path of spiritual evolution if such a thing exists. Master is needed, Krishna is the source; but how much of your story board have you actually experienced? That needs no special knowledge except honesty. We are all on the path of sadhana, Lets leave it at that.
