Guest guest
Namaskar I fail to understand, with all of the erudite members here, and i have been studying what has been written in regards to the eating of flesh, something born of a mother, a womb , and has a soul blood and bones.::: no one not one member has mentioned the most essential prohibition that one could truly apply ,out of the simplest of compassion, and that is these poor souls that are murdered to make someones palette taste perversely happy did not consent to be slaughtered, caused suffering to, pained, tortured neck slit butchered ad infinitum, No, they did not give their consent> By what arrogance does a man condemn an animal in such a way to make their stomachs a graveyard for these poor souls? no one has spoken of this you have all spoken as if from a n intellectual distance. and that is very sad. Very sad indeed. Sorry, one does not even have to look at the VEdas or any spiritual document or cannon bible or any somesuch . One needs to look inside ones heart for God sake, any god or even your own essential self. what is the good of any puja , theory, mantra, what is the good if, we cause such suffering to any sentient being? and no one , no one needs to eat the flesh of an animal unless they live in a country where there is no other food source available. I have been vegan a long time and i am under drs care for several illnesses unrelated to being vegan. i have traveled the world and spoken with and consulted with the top research drs in this regards,an i can without equivocation declare no one, needs to eat meat for their health. How do we fool ourselves???????? to have selective compassion perhaps for a cause, for a friend for humanity at times for ourselves but inflict the moct horrific and uncivilized brutality to animals for their skin and guts?????? it is a spiritual disgrace an utter spiritual folly and delusion . and in regards to religions it is interesting to note the esoteric practices of islam and judaism both do not partake of flesh and as welll the esoteric part of sikhism forbids the taking of flesh. in the end the bottom line is simple the heart of kindess, compassion no god no deity no tantra mantra whatever we will follow will ever compensate for compassion to alll sentient beings
