Hare Krishna, Thanks for your mail Prabhu. Please accept my best wishes, all glories to Sri Guru and Gauranga, all glories to all the devotees of the Lord.Prabhu I agree with your views you have posted on the this forum, yes most of the Hatha Jodis sold on different sites is fake.

But I have not only gone with the vidoe recording only while purchasing them, but a small tissue of these individual Hatha Jodis have been tested in a lab/ reputed hospitals of Mumbai for whether this is consisting of animal or plant cells. And that too not from one place but three different places. Every where it has come to be plant cell Prabhu. Dear friends,

 

Enclosed herewith a picture of real Hatha Jodi from the photo album of our 'Sacred Objects Forum'. This picture was posted by Shri. Alok Jagawat on 31st October 2006. However, he mentions, 'Not sure....orginal Hatha Jodi'.

 

I was also showed real Hatha Jodi as above by different experts in the field. The Hatha Jodi shown at many places shows twin claws and is cent percent an animal product. Fake Hatha Jodi made from animal products is mainly distributed from Rajashathan. Thousands of rock lizzards are killed for this purpose every year I was told. Now these people are using chicken parts.

 

I am of the opinion that people in the trade do not know what they are selling under the name 'Hatha Jodi'. I do not want to blame any of them. They are requested to get check their product from a reputed scientific laboratory and stop selling such products. This will certainly save lives of thousands of poor animals.

 

Few years before there was much discussion on this subject on this forum. I do not remember by Whom ? There was a posting mentioning that hatha jodi samples available in the market were sent for testing to scientific laboratory and the report mentioned it as an animal product. The report mentioned it as bird parts.

 

Shri. Shiva Prasad Tata ji, of 'Astrojyoti' had sent similar postings to save these animals on some other forum. It is available on internet under the keywords 'Hatha Jodi S.P. Tata'. The discussion is on 'Audarya Fellowship'

 

I repeat. I do not want to blame anybody since it is not their fault.

 

I also request to Shri. Rajiv ji not to believe any of such people who requested you to take their video film while extracting Hatha Jodi from soil. These people are very smart. Ask them to make available complete, intact live plant for laboratory testing.
