Guest guest
Dear Sunil, It sounds like you have a good quality and good-acting blue sapphire. Please stick with it. " If it works, DON'T fix it! " Use the gem you already have. There is no need for bigger. If you want to spend more money then buy a talisman for your loved ones. You must be a rich man. You have a 4.25 ratti blue sapphire. If the sapphire is Jyotish (good) quality then it will cost you from $800 - $1500 per carat. But if it was cheap, then it MUST be junk. > > The important issues in gems are: > 1) Quality (flawless, fine color) > 2) Related to one's Anukul-grahas > > The matter of gem 'specific weight' is nonsense. The bigger the gem the stronger it is. If it's a good gem it's stronger good, if bad gem it's stronger bad. > > But exact weight requirements of gems as you (and most others) are hung-up about is, in my experience, nonsense. Ratti is not carat. Ratti is three types, so who would be foolish to advise that gem weight must be " 7.25 ratti? " ---who would be so foolish? What is the meaning of this? It is just a Kali-yuga concoction with no Vedic support nor any meaning. People advise " 7.25 " but they don't know what is a carat, nor what is a ratti, nor even what is a real gem. Gross ignorance. > > I repeat, The bigger the gem the stronger it is, and THAT depends on your financial situation.
