Vedanta Sutras

Dear All,

We are almost 1000 members. How many of us have studied the entire

Brahma Sutra (Vedanta Sutra)? I raise my hand. Anyone else?

Y/s,

Richard

Hi Phyllis,

The Brahma Sutra consists of only 555 short aphorisms or sutras, in four

chapters. That is very short read. By comparison the Srimad Bhagavatam is 18,000

full slokas, and I have read the complete Bhagavatam over 20 times.

Just read the sutras only, not any Tika. Lord Chaitanya said the SUTRAS are

clear, it is commentary which is confusing.

Best wishes,

Richard

Well, son. You will have to qualify yourself to ask/understand this

question. Just being born Indian doesn't mean Jnana. Many Indians are

born Muslim, and most Hindus have never read the Gita (what to speak

of Brahma Sutra). ---Y/s, R-

Well,,, I did,,,, but there is still a long road ahead of me,, (considering the true comprehension of Vedanta Sutras),,, one thing is to read , another to comprehend ..I'm just not old enough to comment in detail the subject in question......It is quite sad that there are only 3 of us in total !!!! ???????....and if that is the case, I honestly raise my hand in that respect .b/w & kind regards vjenceslavRichard Shaw Brown <rsbj66sacred-objects Sent: Wednesday, February 4, 2009 2:38:20 PM Re: Vedanta Sutras
