Guest guest
500 years back when Lord Chaitanya resided in Puri there was this story. Lord Chaitanya was informed of a Brahman who was so illiterate that he read the Gita upside down. So he went to see it was true, not only was he reading upside down, but he was weeping tears of joy as displayed by the Prema-bhaktas. Lord Chaitanya approached the brahmin to ask about this. The brahmin admitted to Lord Chaitanya that he is totally illiterate but his Guru ordered him to read Gita daily. So everyday he opens the book and doesn't know top from bottom. Yet whenever he opens the Gita he imagines Lord Krishna, the supreme, acting as the chariot driver of Arjuna (His devotee) and this thought makes him cry. Lord Chaitanya told his devotees that THIS brahmana has truly understood the Gita perfectly.
