Many Indian Jyotish traditions regard Orange Zircon to be the primary gem of Rahu. An Ideal Rahu gemstone should possess an intoxicating mix of Orange, Red, Yellow & a Hint of Black. I am attaching fine specimens of Orange Zircon for all to see. Exceptional Hessonite Garnet when well cut too show such class. Its a pity though that Zircon is much brittle to be used in everyday wear. In my opinion a hint of black is must, in a Rahu Stone, magnify the attached files for yourself to see.
