Description: There is a huge difference in quality between this gemstone and the ones that you can buy at a normal Jewelry store. The cut is exceptional; it has a very unique design, with a total of 129 facets, most located on the crown of the gemstone. The angles for this material have been incorporated into the design, to give you the maximum brilliance possible.

The clarity is VVS to Internally Flawless. Under a micron microscope there are very faint needles or tubes of water throughout the material, this indicates that the material is natural and hasn't been heat treated. Under a 20x loupe there are no fractures or inclusions visible.

Tanga Garnet is a widely known type of Rhodolite Garnet. The mine is located in the province of Tanga, in Tanzania, Africa. Like Burmese Rubies, and Muzo Emeralds, Tanga garnets are considered one of the best locations for Rhodolite Garnets in the world.
