Anyone with experiences about Valampuri Shankh?

Thank you for prompt response Prabhu. Didn't realize its used for

Shalagram puja or that average weight is 100 grams. This equates to

around US$700 and over $2300 for one shankh of 100grams. I better

start saving seriously!! I'd just looked back some threads and

realize there were lots said about Laxmi Shankh and you warned about

whelks. Still going through those messages, what a minefield of

valuable information!
