Guest guest
Dear Friends, It is really surprising that no one put up a bid for the serene sculpture of Ganeshji, particularly when I stated that the proceeds are to be used for a nobler cause. Is service to God just a ritual chanting His names? Should you need to refer to the photographs, please look at my mail of the 17th ultimo. Thanks and best regards NEELUNilu Chachra You rock. That's why Blockbuster's offering you one month of Blockbuster Total Access, No Cost.
Guest guest
Hi Neelu, I think Lord Ganeshji goes where He pleases. He is not up for BID. It seems your Ganesh wants to stay with you. Otherwise He would inspire the heart of some other bhakta. And what cause can be great enough that you would sell your Lord Ganesh? Guest guest
Dear Richard, I was not bidding Him. I was abiding HIS advice when I sought Him in the deepest moments of my prayers. I pleaded with Him to guide me to realize the mission of my life on this earth and so he ordered me to find His worth. In His mesmeric words, he further whispered to me that His presence is despite Him and asked me to ignore any impervious comments as when the mission is noble and divine, the goal outweighs the means. In a shudder I opened my eyes and the first sight fell on the sculpture of HIS idol. Then I realized what He wanted to convey and asked for bidding from His followers who would like to be blessed and guided by Him. Am I not following His instructions? Thanks and best regards NEELU Richard Shaw Brown <rsbj66 wrote: Hi Neelu,I think Lord Ganeshji goes where He pleases. He is not up for BID. Itseems your Ganesh wants to stay with you. Guest guest
Dear Sriman, It seems that Lord Ganapati inspires you to sell him. It also seems that so far Lord Ganapati has not inspired any one else to buy him. So the matter is with Lord Ganapati and not the short-coming of the members of this group. Guest guest
Dear Neelu, I think if you explain about your Ganesh and his order and resend the picture as 6 inch wide jpg (in RGB 72dpi) then someone might get inspired. Best if you specify how much Rs you need for your Ganesh murti, i.e, price. Best wishes, Richard sacred-objects , Neelu Chachra <khayaalart wrote: > > Dear Richard, > I was not bidding Him. Guest guest
Dear Richard, As per your advice, I am resending the photograph. I would prefer a fair price that can be offered by Ganesh Bhaktas taking into consideration the rarity of the sculpture, its age old existence and one-piece in-depth carving over and above its grace and form. Neither the wood nor the carving had ever been polished and it still retains a natural shine that goes on increasing as one starts rubbing. How much will you offer if you were to take it? Thanks and Regards NEELU Richard Shaw Brown <rsbj66 wrote: Dear Neelu,I think if you explain about your Ganesh and his order and resend thepicture as 6 inch wide jpg (in RGB 72dpi) then someone might getinspired. Guest guest
Dear Neelu, Firstly I myself have a solid gold image of Lord Ganesh, plus other Lord Ganesh murthi, plus Sri Ganesh Rudraksha, so how many Ganesh are there??? I think I have a least ONE real Ganesh. So I'm not the target group. As to " fair price " , that could be what a Pawn Shop will give you for it. Have you tried your local pawn shop? Or better yet, what is the $$$ value of religious faith??? Best wishes Richard sacred-objects , Neelu Chachra <khayaalart wrote: > > Dear Richard, > As per your advice, I am resending the photograph. I must however admire your valuation, Please correct it as US Dollars than Indian Rupees. Let us see if there are any takers.
