Is there anyone on this group who can sell a 1 faced round rudraksha.

I know that James Packer son of late Kerry Packer here in Australia is

keen to acquire one for any price what so ever. So the $$$$ is not a

issue for payment as far as the 1 faced rudraksha is genuine.

 

Anyone who has it can contact me on butterfly_lovers_85 @ com au

and please time wasters and fakers stay away. I am doing a Ph D in

this field and know enough about the fruit its seed and the trees and

its species, to be fooled by a fake one.

Your mate Viral Patel has one Mukhi round for sale, it belongs to

one of his friend who wants to sell it for US$2,50,000.He has also

put the photo of that one mukhi round in sacred-objects album and

subsequently removed it as it resembled the photo on Rudraksh-

Remedy.com, which belongs to Shri Arjun Panditji. Please contact

LOL. This suddenly sounds like a plot for Indiana Jones V(IV in making realsing this May): In search of once faced Rudraksh. I would recommend taking a flight to Kathmandu and get in touch with local dealers. If you know what you are looking for and destined you will get it. Arjun Panditji sells them at much more affordable rates and there have been times when I have disagreed with him (...and have always been vocal about my disagreements). But so far I have surely found him to be very genuine in his response. looks like a scam in the making.(I am NOT talking of Pandit arjunji) This viral Patel contacted me on IM and offered me antique idols. When I said that I need certificate etc. he said all idols belonged to his "fore fathers". When I said I will report him to police dealing with the issue to check the veracity, he stopped. Now he has rudraksh with pics palgerised from other websites.

 

We should stop such tricksters.Menon

Dealing in antique idols is prohibited and I know some people who are

cooling their heels in jail for dealing in antique idols, a very big

antique dealer had to go underground and he finally ran away to Dubai.

I was wondering about Valampuri and the " law " . In India is it a crime

to sell a Whelk shell as sacred Lakshmi Conch (it is certainly fraud).

 

And with antique Murtis, I was wondering about the law. How old is " antique "

minimum age?

mr. viral patel has put this offer along with certificates of selling

old idols in this group itself earlier.

 

many arts and crafts showrooms sell idols of gods and goddesses for

decorative purposes in the lawns and drawing rooms of big bungalows

and if these idols are few years old and are bought from a shop with

bill, there is no violation of any law.

 

however, any idol of 100 years old or more is an antique and is not

tradeable as the culture ministry prohibits its sale because it can

be taken over by the museums. some idols of even pre independence

era which is only 50 years too are considered antiques and are

adorned in the museums.

 

but i believe there is a clause under which, if it is with a royal

family or a person as a collectible and is passed on to his next

generation, it is fine BUT IT CANNOT BE SOLD.

 

so, in my knowledge, if these idols are more than century old, then

they cannot be sold even if they are collectibles of forefathers to

outsiders other than naturally passing on to their children.

 

many temples and idols of pre indendence are given " pracheen " status

by the endowments ministry in several states and hence we shall look

whether they belong to any temple 50 years ago.

 

as regards the round ek mukh rudraksha photo, mr. viral has already

removed the photograph (that is a replica of one from my website)

from his album and hence that matter is closed now.

 

i always preach and practice to use positive language even when you

have a doubt or suspicion. before calling him a trickster or scam,

it is prudent on your part to seek more information from him and ask

him to convince the members that it is not illegal for him to sell

these idols. he is yet to give the photos of them and also their

approximate era or year. i am writing this because he himself in his

own message on offering these idols told that he has certificates

with him. hence if he scan and furnish a copy of those certificates,

then members shall be comfortable in looking at his enquiries. in a

chat with me a month ago on offering these photos, he mentioned that

he is having his own business www.jeenec.com and told that these

idols are collectibles from forefathers with certificates.

 

it is always better for us to let viralji answer all these doubts and

clear your suspicions by furnishing the photos of idols and copies of

certificates THAT ALLOW SALE OF THESE IDOLS. only after studying

these or upon his failure to furnish, then only you can say negative

words about him.

india. however, the endowments ministry of state governments have

fixed many (if not all) temples and idols as antique that are pre-

independence which is only 60 years old and have brought all these

temples under its jurisdiction except where they are run by

authorised mutts or peethams. these state governments recognise

these temples as " pracheen " and give monthly maintenance amounts for

looking after the temple as well as the idols.

 

collectibles of antique items including antique idols belonging to

royal families are still with them and i believe they can be passed

on to their children BUT THEY TOO CANNOT BE SOLD.

 

all those idols that are MADE AND SOLD after independence by a shop

with a bill are resaleable either in india or abroad.

 

regarding valampuri, doctor chandrasekhar phadkeji may be able to

throw more light as i have little or no knowledge on it.

 

as regards selling fake items, two state government emporiums (one in

the north and another in the south) are selling fake rudrakshas with

bill. many members of this group are already aware of these two

emporiums but are not vocal against them since they are government

organisations.

Dear Sriman,

 

You seem to have MORE faith in the Indian Police than most people.

From what I know the police will take the (informed on) item, and then

sell BACK into the black market. So a lot of good you are doing...

giving MORE $$$ to the police. Congratulations!!! Where I come from Police

snitches are frowned upon unless they are stopping a soul from being harmed.

Dear Richard, Menon, Pandit Arjun and all others on this thread

 

Well it seems a lot has happened in my absence. Guys chill and

relax, the one mukhi requirement posted here by our group member

Vienna has outblown everyone.

 

For your information, I am well aware of the law and no one needs to

teach me about the law in regards to the Vintage and Antique Items.

As per the law a citizen in India can sell a Vintage/Antique item to

another citizen in India and this is completely acceptable by the

law. Well do you think people like Gaikwad - The King of Baroda,

Mohnish Behl - Son of Late Actress Nutan and all those Vintage Item

Shop Owners would be mad to sell and buy Antique Items and Vintage

Items if it was against the law.

If you think I do not know police or law, you are mistaken. I know where you come from. I just been to that neck of the woods, where police are equally bad.

 

Two of them, lets call them M/s. Thomspn and Thompson, were sent to Pakistan, where they said that Ms. Bhutto was killed by the air of a blast that took place AFTER she was shot as seen by video. When I was at the Yard, just for information, I inquired about the basis of the "door jamb theory" as it is commonly called at The Met, and was greeted by a large guffaw by the top dog himself. You seem to know a lot about "selling back" things by Police. Did you have such an experience? I have seen cases where "crack" is sold back by The Met. They were case studies in training. But of course the western police indulge in thee things only when the reward is big enough. After all they are part of the uncultured society that matured and grew rich on rape pillage and theft.

 

"snitch" is a word used by a certain part of the society in your neck of woods. Not by the law abiding majority. Perchance you belong to that part of the society?

Of course we are not speaking about ALL Indian police. I once was

friends with Kashi Prasad Srivastava, Jaipur Chief of Police, and was

his guest in Kotwali (in the guest room) on more than 6 occasions. We

would ride in his jeep together early morning for darshan of Lord

Govindadev. Yes, from what I could see he was HONEST policeman. So at

least ONE police WAS honest (in the past). So I guess that proves

there must be a few others too. Pretty cool, huh!?

Dear Sri Menon, apart from 5 English letters " MENON " on a computer

screen I do not know anything about you (apart from being a police

informant). I do not know if you are a man or a woman. I don't know a

single thing about you. Nor I have any idea what you look like. Nor

If he is Genuine what? If some one is selling heritage Indian aritifacts declared illegal per Indian laws I do not see a reason for apology. Hello All, While I agree that the moral rot in Indian civil services is at its peak and is gaining a new altitude by the hour I beleive its the moral duty of Citizens to perhaps appreciate and conserve the treasures of this ancient civilization rather than try and smuggle them out. As for Rudrakshas from Nepal, honestly I am just a patron of the Divine seed and dont know anything about it to comment on its genuineness.
