Guest guest
Hi Vijay, If you " search " this group for " Valampuri " you will find list of genuine suppliers. You are getting 1008 of them? Or one Shank weighing 1008 grams? Please note that the average price for a Valampuri Shank (Valampuri Turbinella Pyrum) is about Rs. 6,000 PER GRAM. Don't be a fool buying Lightning Whelk shells...they are bogus. Guest guest
Wow that is expansive. Surely the temple will not be able to afford that Vijay Richard Shaw Brown wrote: > > Hi Vijay, > > If you " search " this group for " Valampuri " you will find list of > genuine suppliers. Guest guest
YES, " LAKSHMI SHANK " IS EXPENSIVE, AS IT SHOULD BE. ONE PER ONE LAKH OF SHANKS IS A VALAMPURI. VERY RARE. BETTER GET ONE REAL VALAMPURI FOR YOUR TEMPLE. THAT IS A LOT CHEAPER THAN BUYING 1008 OF THEM, WHICH IS IMPOSSIBLE! BEST WISHES, RICHARD sacred-objects , alphapj <alphaconsultant wrote: > > Wow that is expansive. Guest guest
In fact, at 1/100,000 Valampuri is so sacred and rare. And ONLY comes from the Indian ocean. So taking a minimum possible price of Rs 3,000 per gram and average weight per Valampuri being, say, 100 grams = 3 lakhs for EACH Valampuri. And 1008 of these will come to at least Rs 302,400,000 or three hundred crore Rs. So WHAT will your temple do? Spend peanuts to purchase nonsense American Whelk Shells and then have 1008 BOGUS Valampuris which are impure shells that are not even Shank? If so then the temple is a JOKER. Why not get ONE real Valampuri? That is MORE than enough for any temple. Best wishes, Richard sacred-objects , alphapj <alphaconsultant wrote: > > Wow that is expansive.
