Guest guest
Hello Stacey, Welcome to the Ammachi . My father lives in Mystic, CT. How wonderful that you are going to meet Amma. Each person's experience is unique. I would say just go with an open heart, and allow the process to unfold. Each time so far seems completely different and magical in its own way. I think I was a little nervous for my first visit and although I was new, I waited for several hours to get my first Darshan in person. (I say this, as I had heard about Amma a good 9 years before. I began connecting with Her in meditation for two years prior to meeting Her in person, and She made Her presence known to me in meditation at that time). Needless to say, Amma is very accessible when someone wants to meet Her and connect with the Divine. When you arrive at the hall, let the greeters there know it is your first Darshan. They will give you the VIP treatment and assign you an early Darshan and offer you a seat close to Amma when she enters the hall. You will see and hear wonderful, new things....I would stay open like a child in a toy store....and allow the whole scene to gather you in. Guest guest
dear beloved sister stacey,it is so wonderful that you were open enough to ask for guidance.that humilty of heart ,openess and innocence is what AMMA has said out of HER very own mouth is the key.keep that attitude and just let go of all expectations.now AMMA's temba will leave his dear sister stacey with AMMA's very words on this topic. Questioner:Does that mean that AMMA is not available for those that are not open? AMMA: " AMMA's physical presence is available for everyone, whether they accept HER or not.But the experience is only available to those that are open. The flower is there ,but the beauty and fragrance will be experienced only by those who are open. A person with blocked nostrils cannot experience it.In a similar manner, closed hearts cannot experience what AMMA is offering. " whether it is a person's first time seeing AMMA ,or someone's 90th time seeing HER, AMMA suggest that we all stay OPEN like innocent begginers. AMMAs sun hopes that this has helped his beloved sister stacey. .. >Stacee Kramer <stacee.kramer >Ammachi >Ammachi >Re: Blessings >Tue, 17 Apr 2007 16:50:31 -0700 (PDT) > >Hello Stacey, > >Welcome to the Ammachi . > >My father lives in Mystic, CT. > >How wonderful that you are going to meet Amma. Guest guest
Dear Stacey, As already mentioned, everyone's experience is unique, & it can differ each time we see Amma. I recall reading that Amma said if we can keep our mind free from thoughts for just a few seconds during darshan, then we'll receive what She's giving . Meditation, praying for God & selfless service would all be good to do before meeting Amma. The VIP treatment about which Stacey wrote is the goal, but it doesn't always pan out that way. But, I believe Amma knows everything going on in the darshan hall, hears your prayers, & arranges much of what happens there. I think it's good if we can go in a relaxed state, with no expectations.
