Guest guest
Don't kill yourself Jay..... When I was in India I really enjoyed hearing CZ refered to as American Diamonds. I bought an unheated white 2c sapphire a couple of years ago out of Thailand but is has kind of a light misty inclusion visible to the eye-I think they call it a veil. Supposed to be totally flawless. What do you do with bad gems-you hate to pass them on. Maybe heat them and render them powerless? Give them to the crows? Richard-thank you for the info-what finger is the best for the Venus Talisman? Is silver better than gold for it? I am looking at the two silver zircon rings on your site-one is a lotus and the other. Gold is nice but am not that attracted to it. If it is better I will deal with it. Tucson, AZ Gemshow is just around the bend. Do you by any chance ever go there? The whole city is one big gem show. It is amazing to see. All the hotels are stuffed to the max- a store in every room in some of them. A highlight a couple years ago was a man from Afghanstan with 12 or so antique Dzi beads. Amazing to see them. Give them to the crows? ---It doesn't sound like you have a bad stone. A little veil is no big deal. If that's ALL then it sounds like a good stone. Just use it for Venus (unless it is much worse quality than you have described). > > Richard-thank you for the info-what finger is the best for the Venus > Talisman? If you already have a nice white sapphire then just use that and save your money. > > Tucson, AZ Gemshow is just around the bend. Do you by any chance > ever go there? It' a big meeting with 10,000 gem dealers all looking at each other. " Hey! Wanna trade? " That was always the worst time of every year, the Tucson Show was the lowpoint of my life every year from 1980-1985. Glad that's over! >
