Guest guest
This is kind of like Symantaka gem: Surya gives mani to Satrajit. His brother, Prasena borrows the mani, goes hunting, gets killed by a lion who takes mani. Lion gets killed by bear (Jambhavan) who takes mani, gives to child. Krishna gets blamed. Krishna fights Jambhavan, wins. Jambhavan gives mani to Krishna. Krishna returns mani to Satrajit. He tries to give mani to Krishna, Who refuses. Then Satrajit gets murdered, mani stolen. Guest guest
Dear All King Cobra is considered as Naga Devatha [God of Snakes], It has its own Space / Place called NagaLoka where it does its Kingship. Its a serious crime [DOSHA] if one kills or helps in killing or informs to killing or sees the killed Naga [King Cobra etc] and such person entitles NagaDosha or SarpaDosha , Kalasarpa Dosha.etc... If any one has falls into above criteria who has done/informed/participated knowingly or unknowingly can beg Lord Subramanya [ God of Naga's] to forgive such Sins / Doshas. The only way to clear from such Sin / Doshas is to Visit Shri Lord Subramanya Swamy Temple situated in Subramanya near Mangalore / Puttur which is in Karnataka, from Bangalore it is around 360 - 380 Kms. Get an appointment for getting cleared from such doshas from temple authorities 15 days in advance. it is a 2 to 3 days Pooja. May Lord Subramanya bless you and your family Prosperous and Happly living in this world. From Purana: [story that i have read] Even Lord Parashurama a Saint who is being narrated as 6th in Dashavatara got Parihara [Nullified] from his Sin / Dosha from killing his own Mother by visiting this place. Who took bath in the holy river and got Darshan of Shri Lord Subramanya Swamy. From Local News Papers Recently even Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar had visited this Temple for Nullifying from such Doshas. From Me Even i have visited recently and got parihara from such sins which could have happened knowingly or unknowling. Please go along with your entire family. May God Bless You and Your Family, Happy Deepavali Regards Ranganath Bangalore Richard Shaw-Brown <rsbj66 wrote: This is kind of like Symantaka gem: Surya gives mani to Satrajit. Guest guest
Dear Sriman Ranganath, OR, one can worship some saligram silas that pacify Kala Sarpa Dosha such as Ananta Shesha Saligram, OR one can chant the Vishnu Sahasranama which pacifies all 9 planets; OR, one can chant the Lalitha Sahasranama (given by Lord Hayagreeva to Agastya Muni) which gives relief from many such sins including undone obligatory rituals; OR, one can chant the Gayatri mantra which is also known to give relief from undone obligatory rites and various doshas (that's why it is to be done at every sandhya - thereby in effect covering one's self from known and unknown sins done during the course of the day). The list can go on and on. But, as you have said, the propitiation of Lord Subramaniam Swami (Lord Kartikkeya) is by far the most common for remedial measure for Kala Sarpa Dosha. Krishna fights Jambhavan, wins. Jambhavan gives mani to Krishna. Krishna returns mani to Satrajit. He tries to give mani to Krishna, Who refuses. Then Satrajit gets murdered, mani stolen.
