Guest guest
The really funny thing is the case where Syamantaka (a gem from Surya, viz., ruby) has been wrongly spelled as Shyamantaka, resulting in mass ignorance and wrong depiction, even in Amar Chitra Katha, showing Syamantaka as a " blue sapphire " - the argument being that " Shyam " denotes blue or dark. But as this is a mis-spelling it is debunked immediately. Still, there are millions of people who think of Syamantaka as a blue sapphire because of these wrong depictions. I hope everyone will recall this from before. How silly! Y/s, Richard
