Gemstone selection if the lord of ascendant is debilated?

Hi everyone I would like opionion of some of knowlegeable members of this board about gem selection my query is " if the lord of ascendant is debilated but not in dusthana(6/8/12 house) then shall we use the gemstone belonging to ascendant lord or not. "

Dear Mr Rupani, The Lagnesha would remain the Jatak's most benefic planet no matter what. But one of the illumined lights of Jyotish, Shri BV Raman was of the opinion that if a planet is in dushta-sthana, it can never give good results. But Lagnesha in a way is the Jatak's god-brother, so he shall not partake inany harm. It is duty-bound to do some good. But this again is my opinion!!! Then arises a very valid question, in any case Lagnesha is bound to do good. & Is the best planet no matter where it is deposited. So is a gem really required for it. Can you make the best even better... Shri Abhishekji,

I have a client whose health is in critical condition in his chart Lagna is 1 degree and lagnesh Budh is debilated. Generally I dont recommend gem for planets in 6/8/12 houses but in this case I think gem for ascendant will be helpful.
